Megan David is the Founder & Creative Director of BrandNeu. Born and raised in Hawai’i, Megan brings a unique local perspective paired with a global creative mindset. With over four years of experience as a photographer for brands, couples, families and weddings, she has built a reputation for capturing stories that resonate. Megan is also the co-owner of Shutter Haus Hawai’i and Aloha Paradise Studio.
Megan combines her creative expertise with strategic marketing to help businesses tell their stories in a way that feels authentic and impactful. She specializes in crafting visual branding, content, and campaigns that engage audiences, elevate brands and leave a lasting impression.
When she’s not strategizing brand growth, Megan is a wife and a mom to one human and two pups. She’s also well-known as Ariana Grande’s biggest fan and a Korean BBQ enthusiast.

Aleina is a brand and web designer based in Los Angeles, CA, and proudly Hawai‘i-raised. She combines strategic thinking with a creative eye to craft brands and websites that feel genuinely aligned with each client’s story. Aleina is passionate about helping local businesses and creative entrepreneurs stand out online with designs that not only look beautiful but attract the right audience. Her work blends clarity, warmth, and purpose—bringing each brand’s personality to life in a way that feels unmistakably them.
When she’s not designing, you’ll find Aleina catching up on reality TV or a good mystery doc, listening to Taylor Swift, or getting lost in her latest romantasy read.
Keoni Ocalvey is a Native Hawaiian photographer born and raised on the island of O’ahu. Over the years, Keoni has worked with a wide range of clients from luxury hotels and restaurants to travel brands and local businesses. His work spans everything from lifestyle and events to food, hospitality, and product photography always with an eye for detail and a focus on authentic, vibrant moments.
Fun Fact! Keoni is on a mission to visit every country in the world (with over 60 already checked off!). His travels inspire his creativity and fuel the perspective he brings to every project. He’s truly an adventurer at heart.

Devon Johnson is a videographer and photographer based in Honolulu, HI, originally from the DMV. His time living abroad shaped him into a creative chameleon—able to adapt his storytelling to any environment. With a portfolio spanning branded campaigns, lifestyle portraits, restaurants, and real estate, Devon brings a cinematic, detail-driven eye to every project.
He’s collaborated with brands like Shutter Haus Hawai‘i, Honolulu Pawnshop, Lexbreezy, TEAL, and Ocean Creations. Now as Senior Branding Videographer at BrandNeu, Devon is dedicated to capturing authentic stories and crafting visuals that resonate deeply with audiences.
When he’s not in the editing lab, you’ll find him cooking for his fiancée and step-dog with Odd Taxi playing in the background—or hitting the gym as he preps for his wedding day.
Maria Pena is a first generation Mexican American and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications & Media with a specialization in Strategic Communication from Seattle University. Bringing over 6 years of experience as a photographer working with brands, television and now professional sports through social media. Her background in both visual storytelling and strategic communication allows her to help brands connect with audiences in ways that are authentic, engaging and impactful.
When she’s not creating, she can be found working on any and all crafty projects, watching horror movies with her wife or attending all the Billie Eilish concerts.
Fun fact: before entering the creative industry, she served in the military as a cop!
Elizabeth Leybold is BrandNeu’s Content & Social Media Coordinator. She’s a teacher at heart with a love for creativity and connection. After five years of teaching business and marketing, she’s transitioned into social media coordinating.
Life recently brought her and her husband to Hawai’i (he’s a UH Basketball Coach!) and she’s so excited to bring fresh ideas and storytelling to the BrandNeu clients!
